Exclusive Interview with Lead Actors from Mate The Series With Channel Y & GL Series

The highly anticipated Mate The Series has captured the hearts of fans worldwide with its compelling story and dynamic characters. Recently, Channel Y & GL Series recently interviewed the four lead actresses: Grace Budsarin Wonglelanont (Kenlong), Oaey Ponchanok Theerawan (Oengoei), Puyfai Thanaporn Suriyakham (Dr. Meen), and Poppy Palita Visitsak (Dokfai). The interview was filled with fun activities, laughter, and insightful discussions about their experiences both on and off the set.

A Creative Atmosphere

During the interview, the actresses engaged in drawing activities, which allowed them to reminisce about their school days and share how they entered the entertainment industry. The atmosphere was light-hearted, with each actress contributing to the conversation with their unique perspectives and experiences.

Personal Insights & Professional Challenges

The actresses were open about their hobbies, favorite foods, and the camaraderie that developed on set during the filming of Mate The Series. Their chemistry was evident, and it was clear that they had formed a strong bond throughout the production process.

One of the most intriguing parts of the interview was when the actresses were asked about the difficulty of their roles in the series. Their responses highlighted the emotional depth and complexity of their characters:

  • Grace shared, “For me, it’s an 8/10. I had to act like a strong woman, protect my lover, and focus on detailed emotional expressions. Filming love scenes or other intense moments was challenging.”
  • Oaey added, “For me, it’s an 11/10. My external character might seem scary with a straight face, but Aoey, my character, is very pitiful, especially when she cries. As a new actress, this role was challenging and very difficult. However, the love scenes weren’t as hard because I was acting with Grace.”

Interestingly, this interview revealed a fun fact: Oaey‘s role marked Grace’s first on-screen kiss. Grace shared her experience : “This is the first Grace Budsarin’s love scene (she never acted a love scene in her life). Having been in the entertainment industry for around 10 years, Grace takes good care of herself. For example, I have to record a music video. The script has a real kiss scene. I’ll tell them, please not a real kiss. I felt quite a little insecure with this, but when I’ve been playing this series, I told myself I’d be dedicated to the role if they choose me, and I really did it. I did everything, whatever scene.

The interview with Grace, Oaey , Puyfai, and Poppy not only showcased their individual talents but also highlighted the collaborative spirit that defines Mate The Series. For more details, you can watch the full interview here.
